Independent Ship Pre-Purchase Survey
A Ship Pre-Purchase Survey is carried out to assess the overall visual condition of a vessel. The survey provides an independent assessment of the vessel's condition in accordance with the client's requirements and the agreed inspection scope.
A Ship Pre-Purchase Survey provides an independent assessment of the vessel's general condition and identifies existing deficiencies, maintenance issues and other observations that may affect the vessel's operational reliability.
The inspection may include examination of the vessel's hull, main deck, forecastle deck, poop deck, cargo holds or cargo tanks, machinery spaces, accommodation, navigation bridge, safety equipment, statutory certification and other onboard systems in accordance with the agreed inspection scope or the client's checklist.
A detailed Final Survey Report is issued together with comprehensive photographic documentation. The report records the vessel's apparent condition, observed damage, structural deficiencies, maintenance issues, machinery observations, operational test results where performed and other survey findings relevant to the agreed inspection scope.
